8.19.25 This is a great light. I took a way a star because the remote does not work at all, completely dead. I tested the battery and it pegged the needle in the green arc. I will fiddle with the remote/manual controls to see if I can get it to work. The only reason I care is that I have to use a ladder to reach the fixture to use the manual controls. Notes: The unit does have a photocell, but the description in the Amazon listing does not say so. It will turn on and off based on outdoor daylight. The arm has a shallow 3D array of splines that help hold the arm in position, but you need be careful inserting the arm into the mount and fixture so that you follow the spline path that suits the angle you need. 8.21.25 No luck with the remote, still inop. I did look inside the slot for the battery, and it does have a printed circuit board with some solder connections, so it seems like a genuine item.

My favorite things about this light: 1. Motion sensor detects my small dog. I have mounted the light about 15-20 feet above the ground and my 4 lb Pom-Chi still activates the light! I was worried she would be too small but it's perfect. 2. Mode 1 is exactly what I was looking for, very dim light all night long, brightens when motion activated. So it iluminates when my dogs walks near so I can see them in the yard at night. 3. The brightness level was more than I expected. 4. I live in the country so this is a great way to be alerted that an animal/person/car has approached the house at night. 5. Assembly and mounting was ridiculously easy. The only thing lacking was the choice for how long the light stays illuminated once activated. Currently it stays on for about 15-20 seconds but I would like it to stay on for about a minute. This may actually be an option and I just haven't figured it out yet. Overall I highly recommend these lights and I purchased several more to be put around he perimeter of my home. With the brightness level I would probably place them every 20-30 feet so that the entire exterior can be lit with no dark zones.

As for a cheap light it flips the bill. All the Functions worked fine easy to install and very bright. One thing I did not like about them and it also was a dealbreaker is that there is no way these things are weatherproof. The plastic seam were the 2 half's of the cover is is separated at a few points around the perimeter of the light A perfect spot for water intrusion. We had A moderate amount of rain the other day so I decided to take one down and take it apart to see how wet it might be inside well it was wet not flooded wet but definitely not meeting up to what they claim it does And the industry standard for water intrusion. I now started a return on these lights and have purchased another brand which I know better as I already have a few of them now and they actually seal with a rubber gasket. Remember one thing is everybody complains oh it's made in China that's why the quality so bad remember this more than likely it's an American company that owns this product and outsources it to China with the full blueprints on how to make this product so don't be so quick to say oh I'm sticking with buying American products they're making stuff just as cheap and outsourcing it to China so trying to get the blame. China is only going to make what they're told to make and what the blue print shows and the quality as what they're told by the companies that on this product more than likely a US company. So basically what I'm trying to say is to look very closely at the products you get not just from Amazon. Or from other retailers and don't be afraid to return if you don't like it return it. Otherwise than that the lights were good they function properly I just don't think that they will last with a water intrusion situation with electronics.

There isn’t anything to assemble as far as the light is concerned. You have to mount a bracket which is simple to do. But then I had issues getting the lights to work with the remote(s) as I ordered a two pack. It comes with two remotes, but wasn’t sure if they were specific to each light. Didn’t matter. No matter which one I tried, I couldn’t get the lights on. I could turn on the light manually at the unit, but as these are fairly high up and require a ladder, so if I had to use them manually, that defeated the purpose of having remote control. I tried replacing a battery, and was able to get the units to shut off or turn on finally, but I couldn’t get the other functions to work. I went the support route finally and long story short, Amazon couldn’t help, they referred me to the manufacturer who was supposed to contact me, never did, and Amazon was going to follow up, never did. I reached back out to Amazon, no answer. If the remote (remotes work both units by the way) will at least power the lights on/off, they will work well enough. When we are sitting out back around the fire, one movement of an arm, even from 15 feet away, sets off the sensor and it gets annoying. But for customer service, 0. FOLLOW UP- After the remote worked intermittently at first, I am holding the remote literally 18” from the sensor and it will not operate, and this is an hour after it had just worked. Considering sending these back now just out of frustration at the lousy customer service. Don’t buy these.

Easy to install. Surprised at the volume of light produced. Maintains the charge, so far (fall season). Winter and snow will tell me more.

Sirven muy bien, dan muy buena luz

Las lamparas llegaron en buen estado y todo funcional, son algo pequeñas (asegurarse que sean el tamaño que buscas) pero para ser pequeñas tienen buena luz.

La lámpara ilumina muy bien a pesar de estar pequeña, el control muy práctico, fácil de instalar. Lo único malo es que se descarga muy rápido a pesar de tenerlo en el modo con sensor de movimiento.
