I have about 60% mobility with my arms with this jacket fitted the way it's supposed to, but if i hike it up about two inches around the shoulders, i'm at 100%. I'm a broad-shouldered lad but come on, this is a large and i just barely meet the chest size quota for the Large according to the size calculator for this jacket. If i had bought the medium, i probably wouldn't have even been able to put it on.tl;dr this jacket looks great, size yourself accordingly--then do yourself a big favor and buy the next size up. I normally fit in a small chef coat, ordered a medium per recommended by the reviews. Chef coat was baggy in the chest/stomache/back area which is fine, but was still super tight and restricting in the shoulder and arm areas. Mind you, this was already a size bigger than my normal size. I had to return it because there’s no way I can work with that much restriction, and I’m definitely not ordering a large just to get arm movement. Will be searching for different brands.Also, the mesh didn’t help much in terms of coolness.
