It helped organize my limited closet space by allowing my shoes to go vertical rather than scattered on the floor. The assembly is very easy, but expect to spend some time doing so. The instructions are limited and in tiny print, however. Be careful with the fabric when you are assembling, as I stretched the first piece a bit too much and it split. I used it as a bottom section right above the floor, which I haven't come close to reaching with shoes yet.
