It provides sufficient lighting to light a dark parking lot when one is looking for his/her car.Only drawback is the battery life; with very little use the battery seem to deplete rather quickly. I placed new batteries and within a month and a half I had to replace them.The construction is good and they provide additional washers; which I do not know what they are for. I have been using this for a little over a week now and I can tell you that it has quickly become a go-to favorite. It is a great little administrative light that I have been carrying in one of my EDC admin pouches. It fits in there perfectly and has come in handy on many occasions already. Here is a list of some of the great features of this light right out front:-Powered by two AAA batteries for longer runtime.-Small battery size makes it easier to carry backups.-Even though its small this light packs a great beam.-Three brightness settings toggle with the press of a switch.-Tail cap operation switch is always a win in my book. Makes for easy access and power up even in the dark.-The pocket clip is a bit small but it is situated higher on the light for a nice deep pocket carry.-The smooth finish of this light makes it fit great and feel great in the palm of your hand.While this might not be my primary light on duty or out in the mountains, I would definitely have it along as a backup for reading or sifting through gear and other tasks such as that. That being said this light will work in a pinch in almost any situation. You will not be disappointed with your purchase.
