Now I completely understand, and I’m hooked on using a leash. The leash gives a toddler freedom to walk around and explore on their own, while providing safety. And this backpack, I love! The monkey is cute, and the leash has worked great so far. The only potential weak link is that the leash connects to the backpack with a plastic clip. I could see with a really strong, older child running quickly to the end of the lead and maybe it would snap. But for the age it’s designed for it seems good so far to me!
