Very rugged and air tight. I have no doubts this thing could float in the ocean for a few months and be totally fine. Opening it produces a very satisfying hiss, as the air pressure equalizes. It holds my Inspire 1 and everything I need for operation, nice and snug. You can leave the gimbal attached and it doesn't flop around like in some cases.
