Part came with nuts for the crossmember studs but I used the OEM as they fit the application a little better overall. Torqued to specs. What I assume is a type of rubber is firm. Read some reviews where people stated it was too firm. I could see that as a possibly but I would also assume it will soften as it wears and seats more. Everything appears to be well made and of good quality. I used this same brand when I replaced the transmission mount on my old 5 speed manual mighty max. Held up perfect as well. Westar has not disappointed me yet. Happy with my purchase!
