Maesri Yellow Curry Paste (Kang Karee) 4 Oz.- Pack of 4

For an easy curry paste this is an absolute must. We stock this pase (yellow) in our pantry year round. Mix this with a couple cans of cocunt milk and throw in some chicken for an easy and delicious dinner. Serve over rice with naan and it's a great meal.

I’ve tried 4 or 5 different yellow curry pastes and this one is BY FAR the best. It’s close to as good as my favorite Thai restaurants. It’s about a 2-3 star spice level, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t like some spice.

We wanted to try home made curry. We had no clue how to do it and what will be the result. After many search and review reading, we took a chance on Maesri Yellow Curry paste and I can tell you that it did not disappoint one bit! That stuff is GOOD! Taste amazing and even better than most curry in restaurant we tried. We never though that one day we will make it a regular meal in our home but with that paste, it is so easy and fast that it is not a duty to cook a curry at all. We ordered the red and green (and more yellow) from the same brand. This is going to stay a fixture in our pantry. Mixed with Coconut milk or cream, perfect sauce each time.

I used Thai Kitchen curry paste until they changed their formula and it no longer had any spice. Luckily I found this far better curry paste. It comes in a lot of varieties and they all have fantastic, deep authentic flavor. But they can be quite spicy. I usually use extra coconut cream to cut the curry so it's at a spice level I enjoy and my kids will eat. Even with the extra cream, it still brings bold curry flavor.

good curry but too spicey for me

The product adds a nice zing to my Curried Split Pea Dahl recipe. Nice complex flavors. It was not called for in the original recipe, but I added a can just as an experiment and it improved it noticeably.

Yum yum yum! My favorite curry paste! Great for yellow coconut curry! Mid to moderate spice depending on how many cans you use. I usually have loose spices on the side to make adjustments accordingly.

Excellent yellow curry paste. Use the entire tin with 2 cans of coconut milk for milder, 500ml as recommended for thicker, spicy.
