NOT TIRE PUMPS ! *by J***S on February 2, 2020* This is an excellent power source for charging or using anything you have that plugs into your car's 12 volt socket., now called a Power Port. THIS IS A 12VOLT POWER OUTLET and IS NOT THE SAME AS A 12VOLT CIGARETTE LIGHTER SOCKET CAUTION ! This is a LOW POWER * 2 AMP * 12 volt source. It is not meant to have as much power as a car cigarette lighter socket, . I use it to power my XmSirus satellite radio inside my house, and also to power up my Garmin GPS for programming a new address into it, before going to the car.. The cord is about 3 feet long, the box that plugs into the wall is about 3 inches tall and 2 inches wide by about 1 inch thick, AND it does not block the other outlet so you can still use it too. Again, IF your car/vehicle no longer has an actual pop out cigarette lighter, this will power any small item, For example a Phone charger/tablet/ GPS/Dash Cam/12 volt shaver/adapter to USB etc, but will be quickly destroyed by such a heavy AMP item as a 12 volt tire pump(14amp) that plugs into a REAL 12 volt cigarette lighter socket.
