**Q: Does Danncy brand Pure vanilla extract contain coumarin?**
A: Pure Vaniila Extract is required to contain the extractives of 13.35 ounces of vanilla beans with a minimum of 35% alcohol by volume by Code of Federal Regulations.  This product does not contain any alcohol and it is not Pure Vanilla Extract as the label states.

**Q: why the different spellings of "vanilla"?**
A: don't know bout spellings but this is by far the best vanilla I have ever had. I like to bake and could never go back to the vanilla that is sold other than this.

**Q: does one of these bottles have a flip top cap - i previously threw out my white bottle not realizing that the dark bottle only had a twist on cap**
A: Both of mine only have the twist caps. But don't you just love the vanilla?

**Q: Is there any difference between the taste of the clear vs the dark. Is there perhaps coloring added to the dark which is the only real difference ?**
A: Clear vanilla is NOT vanilla extract. It is made with vanillan, a chemical. Dark vanilla CAN be extract (it takes on the color of the beans), but at this price I'm sure both of these are artificial vanilla.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic repellant for nats and mosquitoes

I bought the clear and dark vanilla and to be honest to me the dark doesn't smell at all of vanilla and the taste was unbearable. I don't cook with vanilla, but this my sound crazy to people but, I swear it works. I love to fish and I'm always pestered to death by nats and mosquitoes. I was told a long time ago that nats and mosquitoes hate the smell of vanilla. I have spent hundreds of dollars on mosquitoe spray that never really works and then smell like the spray afterwards. I bought a spray bottle just for this. So I tried the vanilla out a few days ago and it truly works mosquitoes and nats hate the smell of vanilla. Another thing I like about it is you can spray your face and not worry about chemicals getting into your eyes and mouth. Ater I spayed myself I sat in my chair on the lake I was at and sat and watched as a swarm of mosquitoes came about a foot away from face and not a 1 came up to my face. I was truly amazed of how good it worked. So I just ordered 2 more bottles of clear vanilla so I want run out so fast. So if you don't a lot of fishing this is the ideal thing to use
