It doesn not spray as far as claimed, but its still very good and the ease of adjusting the spray area was way simpler than a rainbird. I would buy this again in a minute. The base is good too, it slides easily across the grass and is just heavy enough to support the pressure of the spray. Even though they are plastic they run well and last in the Texas heat. ### ⭐⭐⭐ A good sprinkler, believable price, a couple faults. *by G***R on September 6, 2018* I'd say you're pretty lucky if you're able to get by with one type of sprinkler. For me there is no such thing as one that will do it all. The virtue of this one is that it is so adjustable, and I frequently make adjustments for different areas and wind conditions. You have to learn how to do the adjustments, but after several uses, all of it becomes automatic. It's one of my most used sprinklers. It has one manufacturing defect, Where you screw in the hose it leaks on the far side of the hose. This is either poor quality control or very loose (sloppy) manufacturing tolerances.My main complaint in design (as opposed to sloppy implementation) is that the sled (the part that should be touching the ground) is far to light. The weight of the hose, for example, could easily prevent it from sitting flat, especially if the terrain is not horizontal. I frequently have to re set the position of the hose to get the sprinkler to stay where I want it. I may epoxy a pipe filled with sand into the bottom side of the rails.On mine, the sprinkling mechanism works flawlessly. If you're going to complain about uneven water distribution, I wonder what you are comparing it to. It isn't even, it is seriously effected by breeze or wind, but if set to the same distance N/S and E/W - it's very good.
