Most flip up mirrors on visors are between the visor and the roof of the car, so that the mirror isn't available until you flip the visor down. With this sun visor, you leave your car's visor in the up position and clip it to the visor like that. Then, to use the Sailead sun visor, you just pull it down, your car's visor remains in the up position. After giving my first one to my daughter I bought another for myself. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good product, a little flimsy *by Q***R on December 2, 2022* I have tried and tested several other brands on Amazon but had ended sending them all back for poor quality, hard install/did not work. I was skeptical about this one and was almost ready to give up but decided to chance it and glad I did. Like the other reviews, this visor does work in the sun and blocks glare. At night, it's ok and blocks the glare of lights coming from cars etc.. but you need to be careful as this is not a proper night vision visor and so visibility is NOT enhanced and quite poor when driving at night with this. I would not recommend in dark conditions to be honest. I do find the price to be a little expensive (this is the most expensive one I bought) for a flimsy piece of polycarbonate but it is the one that works so unless it falls apart before my 30 days, I will keep it. For the above reasons, I gave it a 4 stars. I am also a little disappointed that is arrived smudged and slightly scratched on the visor. I am too tired to return this but I am disin the quality control before sending this to a especially for the price that it cost. Overall, try this as it does work to cut out glare and light. I'm updating this review. I've used this for several days now and find that the visor does not stay put when you fold it up. It keeps slipping down and covering my view when I don't need the visor. It also feels very flimsy. It doesn't feel like this visor will last very long so I am giving it a 3 star.
