It also makes it much easier to just lift these things out every 2-3 days rather than dreading the inevitable digging I would have to do for it.Pee dribble on the plastic bit that's on the outside of the box is a thing though, even with a covered box, so gloves are definitely needed if you want to avoid getting that on your hands. Also the bags can rip if your cat digs hard enough, but usually doubling up helps with that. The last couple of packages have been different. They are thinner and tear easily. At least one tears nearly every time I clean the box. Today, two of them tore, the third did not. This trend means up to 2/3 of the package will be wasted as I throw away torn liners that never sifted anything. My long time pet sitter has made the same observation.
