In reality the biggest install issue wasn’t related to this kit itself, but removing the original plastic nut. I installed on a Fender Squier Affinity to replace the original nut since I was already going to have the strings off. However, the lacquer finish on the headstock and neck had it locked in pretty good. I spent about an hour and a half on the replacement, with only about 15-20 minutes actually dealing with this product. In the end I had to cut the old one out with a dremel rotary tool. Once I had that mess out of the way sanding and installing this was a breeze.
