I was very disappointed to see that these are even necessary.** A: The extensions raise the feeder about 3-1/2 inches or 9cm. I got the medium feeder for a medium golden retriever (40 lbs) and needed the extension for it to be at the right height. It's awesome, he used to get food & water everywhere but not with the feeder, it catches all the mess- especially at the right height. Hopefully this helps, cheers. **Q: Will the large one work with the express model?** A: Hi I believe I read on the neater feeder website that these WILL NOT work with the express model, go to the actual website and double check **Q: I have a Deluxe system (base & 1 set of leg extensions already). I need it to be taller. Can a 2nd set of leg extensions be added for more height?** A: Unfortunately no. We also have the Deluxe system and thought these legs were an additional extension for what already came with that setup. This is basically a replacement set for the extensions that came with the deluxe system.
