The end caps that came with my coffee table were so old that they became brittle and cracked, making them fall apart and fall out of the bottom of it. I only noticed when we temporarily put it on a tile floor and heard an unpleasant sound when it moved. Luckily didn't scratch the tile. Measured and took a gamble. These worked perfectly. Snug fit, replaced all 4 of them. I'm good for a long while now.
