Is this compatible with the 622 model? (There are two conflicting answers). If not, is there a suction cup mount that is available for the 622 model?

Yes it will fit the model you want. It's a package suction cup for the front windshield and the sticky one for the back.

Will the mount work on an RV vertical windshield?

I have found the mounts from nextbase are pretty good quality. I have used the suction cup style and it stays put through the weather seasons. Once in awhile it will unstick but most suction cup mounts also do the same. The angle being vertical should not be a problem.
