After suffering terribly at the hands of the Archbishop of Sloth Petelgeuse, Subaru has returned once more to the capital with his ability, Return by Death. Swearing revenge, he'll need to find allies and borrow their strength to strike back the the Witch's Cult and save Emilia. But how will he manage that when he has nothing to offer, powerless as he is...? Review: Good Quality Books - Perfect gift for teenagers. Im slowly buying all volumes as gifts and rewards. Great quality. Review: An Excellent Continuation - In this volume, Subaru comes face to face with his own inadequacies, after many failures. Driven by despair, he is mentally broken, yet a single thread of hope promises salvation. This volume is a bit of an intermission in many ways, yet despite this, it was no less enjoyable. The translation is excellent, the art is beautiful, and the story itself is emotionally charged from start to finish. I highly recommend picking it up, to anyone who has an interest in this series so far. To those who do not, might I suggest the first volume of the web novel? Or perhaps the anime? Both are excellent, though a fair warning regarding the latter: it goes further than these novels have yet to reach in terms of translation.

This is where Re Zero begins
Easily the best volume so far. This volume is everything that Re Zero is in one book. This is where Re Zero truly begins.

If you are a fan of the anime and want more. This is for you.
As an avid fan of the anime series. I got the books to support the author and to get extra scenes and plot items which the anime could not cover. The book is sight for sore eyes in its simple yet amazing design. I love it!

a best book to read
This is a book that is a must read. The only down-side is that they didn't add the special Limited Edition that includes the extra chapter that was in the Japanese version. But nevertheless, a best book to read.

Hahaha. Finally !!!
Well, after 6 volumes of suffering, humiliation, more suffering, being scorned, a first step on the realm of madness, and a bit more suffering, it seems like the protagonist is making his first great comeback (that was about time!!! ๐ ) and is about to score a big one in the next book. I'm seriously impressed by the amount of details this source material for the parallel anime and manga adaptation adds, tying a couple great loose ends that were not solved or even hinted at on them. ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฒ As the previous volumes, this one gets me wondering how can a human being deemed weak can cope with so much physical, psychological and moral pain and still be up on his feet, and be struggling toward a goal that is sure to bring such disaster and unreasonable suffering to his life, but still that is the point that makes this series even more awesome, unpredictable and fun to read, with its ups and ups, some gory details about the diverse ways to die a painful, horrible and pathetic death which gets me wondering If im some kind of sadic to be enjoying this series so much, and like this one volume, sometimes a beginning for some great accomplishment, following a basic cliffhanger to get us hyped for the next volume, more suffering, sadness, terrible pain, scorn, humilliation, even more gory agony and death, some bealtyful comebacks and counterattacks, some more suffering and finally some satisfaction on the convoluted progression of the series. Thank you very much Nagatsuki Sensei, for creating this gem, Yen Press for publishing this awesome series translated, because we sadly cant read japanese, and for Amazon for bringing this ebook and making it available to us, really THANK YOU!!!!! ๐๐
