If you press the MAX/MIN button once, it will display the greatest reading it measures. If the wind speed drops below the highest value measured to that point in time, the reading does not change. If the wind speed exceeds the value on the display the speed will change (increase). The MIN works in the same way. Except that it shows the lowest speed measured. It seems accurate. All the features work just fine.
