Combining our 45 years of hi-fi mastery with the very latest music-streaming technology and premium design quality, this is the ultimate single-box system you and your music deserve. At the heart of Mu-so 2nd Generation is Naim’s music-streaming platform, developed by 25 engineers over 3 years to offer the very best performance whether playing your own digital music collection, a world of Internet radio, or music streaming services such as TIDAL and Spotify. The all-new multicore DSP drives higher performance, providing 2000 MIPS (Million Instructions Per Second) compared to the original Mu-so’s single-core, 150MIPS DSP. We have also created a brand new limiter algorithm that keeps each of Mu-so 2nd Generation’s speaker drivers’ movement under control when at high volume levels. Our new intuitive interface has 15 touch sensitive buttons and a bold, illuminated volume dial with a proximity sensor that wakes the display. Premium aluminium casing, in a new burnished grey finish. It may look similar outside, but inside the majority of components have been upgraded to improve performance. The cabinet design has been re-engineered to create 13% more internal volume, enabling bigger, better bass. Both the cabinet bracing and baffle moulding have been redesigned for improved rigidity, which suppresses and controls vibrations. Build quality: Highly impressive. Everything about the device feels high quality from the thick slab of lucite it sits on to the aluminum it is wrapped in. Wouldn't change a thing. If you need an all-in-one type device because of space or aesthetic constraints in your living room, you'd be hard pressed to do better than this. If you can accommodate a proper stereo hifi setup, you can probably do a bit better in the sound quality department.

**Q: Is it build in wi fi? Can I link it with a Tv?**
A: yes and yes.  there are a number of good reviews out there that explain everything, just google it.

**Q: Can the Naim Muso 2 purchased in the US be used in Korea where the voltage is 220V?**
A: Thanks for your question. Naim products sold in the USA operate on 110V-120VAC only.

**Q: Is it stereo or mono? Does it do any type of surround sound?**
A: It is stereo , but not surround sound.

**Q: Is it possible to connect a sub to this? I like the idea of using this as a sound bar, not needing surround, but I sub would be nice**
A: As far as I can tell, you can’t connect a sub or other external speakers. However, for its size the Mu-so puts out a lot of bass. I have a small living room and definitely don’t need a sub with the Mu-so.

Naim MuSo 2 is a musical experience. This product has many features and allows you to connect and stream music from several sources while using different connection types. I found that sound quality is largely based on sound source. While streaming from Tidal or Spotify premium services, sound quality is greatly improved over other streaming sources such as a playlist that is stored on a tablet or computer. Sound quality directly reflects sound source. I added 1” silicone isolation bumpers to the bottom of the speaker so it Is not sitting flat on the shelf. This minor adjustment improves sound quality and eliminates vibrations. Very nice All In One Speaker and a musical experience.

I didn't quite know what to expect but bought this rather than the Samsung Q80s matching sound bar. And am I glad I did! Sound quality is amazing on TV and Music and range of internet radio options and streaming solutions is incredible. The only (very minor) glitch - if not switched to HDMI in the App, the HDMI Arc signal will drop out. But switched in the App and it locks on rock steady. Highly recommended.
