Could the lens be removed to make a pair with different strength each eye? Obviously i would buy two strengths

Yes, you can take both pair of glasses to an optician and they can safely heat the frames, pop out the lenses and then reinsert a lens of each desired strength.

They each come with a soft case

Can the hinges be adjusted?

No. The hinges cannot be adjusted. Although, I'm not clear as to what adjustments one would do with glasses.
