When new, they are great. Put the bread into the bag, zip it closed, and the bread stays moist and sliceable for days. However, there are a couple of problems with the bags:1. Inevitably, the ziploc closure fails. Then you have to clamp the bag closed somehow.2. If you leave bread too long in the bag so that mold develops, you may as well discard the bag. In my experience, the mold spores cannot be extirpated from the bag, so that any bread placed into the bag spoils quickly.The solution is simple: plan to replace the bags on a regular basis. But these bags are twice the length they need to be which makes it very very difficult to use. After the closing mechanism broke on two bags, I contacted the business. After a long wait, I finally heard back and I was told they recommend replacing the bags "every 2 weeks, or sooner if needed." Needless to say, the price of these bags led me to expect and longer "product life" than that.
