Lost the ring that came with the saw. This is a perfect replacement. The fit to the arbor is good, and the fit to the blade is not quite as tight as the original, but is not loose either. Will have to be careful not to lose this ring when changing blades.

Necessary, if you lose the original in an old blade.
I thought I lost my spacing washer and quickly realized I didn't want to use the miter saw in wiggle mode. I bought these, they worked exactly as expected, fixed the unstable blade. I immediately found the original INSIDE THE LAST BLADE I switched out. Since my job depends on my tools working I will be keeping theae in the truck as backups.

Just as described. I bought a DW780 miter saw that was returned at Home Depot. I got it for 30 % off the normal price. All was like new with the saw but it was missing the saws blade adapter. I bought a saw blade that needed an adapter so I ordered this one that worked perfectly and I have an extra.

Perfect Fit
This piece got stuck in the blade when my husband was trying to change blades and it fell off and he lost it. This is a perfect fit for the piece he lost for the miter saw.

Keep a couple on hand
These ring adapters for DeWalt miter saw blades always drop out of the blade and bounce into a black hole. It's best to have a couple on hand to avoid the aggravation.
