Worked in only one application
My daughter had two plantar warts on her foot. We tried the Dr. Scholl’s freeze away max spray, medicated pads and liquid treatment and nothing worked. I had her take a bath to soak the warts then used the enclosed file to file the warts down a bit. I held the applicator on the warts for 60 seconds each (a longer time than what the instructions said) and they both fell off in less than one week. In my opinion the Compound W spray gets much colder than the Dr. Scholl’s spray. The Compound W applicator tip, once activated, had actual water vapor coming off it that you could see whereas the Dr. Scholl’s did not.

Working
Update ___ So I went to the doctor with my insurance covered. They just give me a cream and all my warts are gone in a little more than a month. This freeze worked the first may be two boxes. And failed to work after my 3rd or 4th purchase. So if it is possible, Dermatology still is better. ___review So I got wart about 2 years now, last year I use another amazon liquid wart remover (green bottle) and it worsen my wart.(p3) And I went back to doctor, nothing works because I can't regularly come to the appointment. However this is the most possible way to get rid of the wart based on persistency (which I failed)

Good buy..actually works
I used this for a decent sized wart on my arm that I had previously used clippers to cut off several times. I really applied it and wasn't sensitive about it and it really worked. I think the trick is applying a decent amount of pressure and holding it down for a good count.

Doesn't work; can't return to Amazon; Company won't refund either
Since we I can't go to the doctor right now for non-essential treatment (pandemic/stay-in order), when I saw this product on Amazon, I thought it might be an easy fix. Before buying it, I noted the reviews of others saying that it did not work, but then there were other reviews saying it was the best. i was hoping it would work for me, not so! Here's what happened in my case. I bought the product for a common wart near the tip of the pad of my thumb. The doctor thought I got the wart virus through a cut on my thumb. When I applied it per the instructions, I noticed the tip of the product does not get cold enough to do anything to the wart...it didn't even hurt or sting when I placed it on regular skin. I expected it to feel something like dry ice, where I would be able to feel that it was extremely cold. It only felt slightly cold. And although you can use it for several treatments (I tried it twice: one time without help applying it and the second time I had my husband apply it), neither application caused the wart to change in any way. It did not change color ( I expected it to turn white) or to die and fall away. This product gets zero stars from me. It does not work as advertised. Perhaps it is defective, but the company (Compound W) will not own up to that. When I described it to them on the phone they said it is working fine. Although Amazon will ship the product to you, it is not eligible for return because of the pressurized can. Compound W will not take it back either. They reluctantly agreed to send me a coupon for another one, although they still didn't agree that the one I have is defective. (The Compound W representative was kind of cagey in the conversation...they didn't want to take any responsibility or offer medical advice. I felt it was a weird, unhelpful and defensive conversation, since I was only suggesting the product was defective and not asking for their medical advice.) But the coupon will take up to 8 weeks to receive and it will only be good for the Freeze Off product, not any of their other products. In my opinion, this is really bad customer service by both Amazon and Compound W for a product that doesn't work. Suggestion: If you want to try it (because it seems to work for some people), buy it from you local store/drug store, so you can return it them in person if it doesn't work.

Don't use unless you like brown spots on your face
I think it's ingenious in terms of the applicator and The freezing liquid or whatever it is. It's easy to apply however instead of what I expected, now I've got two big brown spots on my face instead of one mole and one really kind of weird rough skin area. I have gone to a dermatologist before and those look like real burns but they're very small about The same if you brought yourself with a wooden match just very small but real burnt like black. I had the moles come back in that case too or skin tags. But I didn't have big brown spots. Now I will have to go see a dermatologist and get rid of the discoloration. I would strongly recommend using freeze off somewhere on your arm or something first where np one will see the discoloration/. Find out what happens with that before you do anything that people will see. Now it's going to cost me more money to go get the discoloration fixed and who knows if the moles even disappear. I've discovered this discoloration almost always happens and they expect it to happen. At least after reading this review now you know what's coming. You'll likely be walking around with brown spots for the foreseeable future. I'll try to update my review to let you know if my skin came back to normal and if this stuff actually worked over time. But as for now, just call me spot. Lol

Excelente calidad

Finally the Wart is gone!
(Warning: Method described below is not a recommendation, but an account of my own experience.) I had a wart on the base of my foot for almost ten years ( I know...gross). During this time, I tried many other methods of removing it, including expensive visits to the Doctors office to have them freeze it off. I even tried the duct tape and vinegar methods. None of these worked to remove the wart. Late last year I noticed the dime sized wart had spread nearby and created another wart. I had enough and decided that I was going to attack both of them with very aggressive methods. On the recommendation of at least one of the other reviewers I purchased 3 boxes of this product along with one Compound W fast acting gel. (Link below) I started treatment in January (2014). At first I used the product as directed for about 6 weeks, with the exception of increased freezing time. I would keep the applicator there until it was no longer cold. I would apply the gel directly after freezing each time and continued to use the gel every other day thereafter. I would keep a bandage (Flexible cloth-like ones worked best). Even with this, saw the wart(s) grow back slightly after about a week of each freezing. I increased the frequency of freezing applications to the point of re-applying when the the tenderness of the last application wore off. Sometimes this was 3 days....other times it was just 1 or 2 days. Before each freezing I would soak my foot in soapy water and carefully scrape it down with a pumice stone or the file included in the kit. I finally started to see some results with this combination. I was very careful to try and only freeze the wart and not the skin around it. Freezing the skin around it would make it tender for longer periods of time. After about 4 months from the start of treatment both warts appeared to be gone. I froze them once a week for another month just to be safe. It has been almost 3 months now and the warts appear to be gone. The skin is still rather dry in that area but appears to be healing up. I can actually see my footprint again. Update : 01/24/16 The Warts are still gone!

Works well once you get the hang of it.
It does burn into the skin as advertised but on your foot - it doesn’t take it off in one go. No way!
