    but the elevation was terrible. No adjusting or tweaking could get the light ...

Light did not function as advertised. Laser genetics claims it will work down to 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Light wouldn't come on or would come on but not get bright at 15 degrees Fahrenheit. Even inside in warm conditions the light would hesitate to come on and get bright. The mount was way off zero as well. I was able to loosen the screws between the scope ring and light ring to get the azimuth close, but the elevation was terrible. No adjusting or tweaking could get the light to point low enough to shine where the gun was pointing.  Had to loosen the ring and wedge a piece of wood in between the light and scope, then snug up the screws to depress the beam to where it would shine on the target instead of way above.  These deficiencies make the product useless for field applications.  Complete junk. Returning and getting something else.
