Mounting Installation Review and Suggestions - Nice Product
My daughter purchased this mount to hang a 65 Inch, 50 Pound, LG Television and of course, asked if I could mount it to the wall and then mount the television. The mount arrived well packed and contained instructions, a crazy amount of mounting screws, 4 lag bolts, small level, and a mounting template. The instructions were very generic but easy to follow. There is a plastic package with compartments for a lot of screws. First and most important, you must know where the studs in the wall are. I would not recommend mounting this to the wall in any way but with lag bolts into studs. Of course, the studs where this was mounted were wider than 16 inches on center so I had to install two 2x4 pieces of wood to the wall secured with 3 inch screws. (2x4 is 1 ½ inches thick, sheet rock is ½ inch thick for a total of 2 inches. 3” screws then go into the studs an inch). Installation Note: There are two metal brackets that attach vertically to the back of the TV that can be adjusted up and/or down. On this TV, they could not adjust down based on the shape of the bottom of the TV as it curved out. There is a movable clip on the bracket that goes towards the bottom of the TV. This clip attaches to the bottom bar that is put on the wall mount to give you an idea of the height of the TV once mounted to help with the location installing the bracket. After installing the 2x4’s, I centered the TV for where it should be mounted and then used the template to find the location of the lag bolts. One nice item on the template is that it has an adhesive strip on both sides so it will stay in place while finding the lag bolt holes. I pre-drilled the holes per the pattern provided to make it easier to install the lags. I also purchased shorter and slightly thicker lag bolts to mount the bracket to the 2x4’s with my ratchet set. Make sure the Template is level! After pre-drilling the holes, removed the mounting template (saved it) and installed the main mounting bracket using 4 Lags and Washers with my ratchet set. Note: Make sure the correct side is up. There was an arrow pointing up on my mount. Once secured, install the horizontal metal brackets or arms to the mount. They come in two pieces and slide through the mount in the specified area. Use a screw to secure them. Installation Note 2 – There are a lot of screws, washers, and spacers in compartments labelled with letters or numbers. The mount comes with a lot more screws and hardware then you will need. Just follow the instructions. For example, the instructions showed three sets of screws and various spacers to attach the vertical brackets to the TV. I only needed the last screws specified without any spacers. In other words, one of the sets indicated should work with your TV as each TV is different. Mount Test – Before Mounting the TV, after the mount is installed, pull the mounting arms forward and give it a pull to make sure it is secure. Again, I would not install this without using the Lags into Studs. Mounting the TV requires two people. Lift the TV and secure the upper support and then the lower support. While the 2nd person is holding the TV, flip the metal clip over the lower bar and secure to the TV. This will prevent the TV from coming off after installation. Once installed, the TV can be pulled forward away from the wall, swiveled left or right, and can be angled down. There are many adjustments if the TV is not level. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. The mount is very strong and well made. It was not hard to install although you needed the correct tools to do it. It is easy to adjust as well. It took me about an hour to install it and hang the TV. Now that I have done it once, I would say it could be installed in 30 minutes or less as long as you know where the studs are. Items Needed for Installation: Power Drill and Bits (pre-drill lag holes), Phillips Head Screwdriver (attach vertical brackets to TV by hand!), Ratchet Set (Installing Lags), Flashlight (final screws to secure the clips to the TV so you can see what you are doing), Level (my own although one was provided), Pencil, and Patience! You will need a 2nd person to hang and mount the TV. You will need a stud finder to find the studs if you do not have one. You can get a very cheap one at a hardware store or look for studs via nail or screw holes that are visible, or put a lot of small holes into the wall to find the studs!

Great mount with super adjustability.
Easy to install and great adjustability for our 65" OLED. The fit was perfect and was easy to adjust for level, and viewing angle. Once installed we rarely move the TV but the few times we have it was very study giving a feel of high durability. They are a delicate flower of a tv and feels securely mounted.

Very strong design, very nice implementation. "Easy" to install if you are handy with tools.
The finish of all parts was excellent, there were multiple options for screws to mount the TV and stand-offs for between the mount and the wall, and movement of the TV when mounted is smooth. Very nice. This unit is very strong, with dual arms top and bottom in a parallelogram arrangement that allows for a wide range of angular motion of your TV. Tilt is possible, and I was glad to have the rotation adjustability to level the TV side of the mount. I needed to mount this to a stone fireplace fascia, and the stone had a lot of variation of surface projection, so I had to (1) use masonry anchor bolts, not provided; and (2) use several of the plastic stand-offs provided with the mount. I hammer-drilled into the mortar lines between the stone, so I didn't mar any of the stone, and bought and installed some 5/16" dia x 2.5" long 18-8 stainless anchor bolts (yes, available on Amazon.) Because the mortar lines were a little narrower than the provided stand-offs, I sanded the sides of the latter to just fit between the stones on each side of the mortar line at the holes. This arrangement allowed the backplate of the mount to stand off the proudest of the stone behind it by about 1/16" while providing a very strong attachment to the chimney. It easily held my 220# weight (though I did NOT try that at full extension of the mount!!!) The rest of the assembly is simple, once you correlate the instruction's part numbers to those printed on the clever parts packets and larger parts. If you're mounting to a stud wall, you MUST find the centers of two adjacent studs (typically on 16" centers) to screw your 5/16" diameter lag bolts into. I would recommend lag bolts at least 2.5" long (3" preferable, IMO), with pre-drilled, full depth holes maybe 1/8" diameter. A ratchet set makes driving the lag bolts easy, but it can be done with a small (~6") adjustable crescent wrench. You really, really don't want to drill or screw into any house wiring. I can't help you figure out where those run in your walls-- but you could drill a pilot hole (between the studs, through the drywall only) and probe to see if any house wiring runs through the stud bay at the hole heights you are considering. And, beware, you must NOT just use drywall to support this mount and your TV-- the drywall will NOT hold the load. You MUST use lag bolts driven into the meat of two adjacent studs to make this mount work for you. If your TV is larger than 55" diag, you are really going to want two people to lift it into place. Even 55" may be iffy, depending on your strength and the height of your mount.

If you are looking at mounts, look no further. I used this mount for a 4k 60 inch Samsung TV and it worked great. The frame is very sturdy but that's not what I'm going to focus on this review. I am blow away on how EASY this application was. It might sound petty but I've assembled my fair deal of IKEA furniture and other things which sometimes leave you scratching your head. Now with this mount, it's pretty straight forward, mount a bracket to the TV, mount the wallmount to the wall, and then connect the two. However this is where Mounting Dream comes WAY beyond the competition. First off, they provide a leveler which is kinda a big deal if you don't have one already. They also provide a wall mounting template so you can see exactly where to mount it AND with said template they even provide a leveler to stick to the paper so you can make sure the template is level! Now if this wasn't good enough ,their setup system is awesome. Each set of screws and washers comes in their own labeled pocket so you don't have to guess what screw is what. On top of all of that jazz, they supply a HDMI cable with said purchase. I know that it's more of a gimmick and I'm not the type to get sucked in with "addons." With that being said, the HDMI cable that is supplied is pretty high quality. It is braided on the outside and feels expensive. I had another set of HDMI cords ready to go I didn't use because this cable was perfect. Overall, I don't know how they are making money since the price is so competitive however if you are looking for an absolutely SOLID wall mount like I was, with duel arms since they are more sturdy, don't look any further. I can't recommend them more highly, as this setup was a breeze!

Sturdy quality mount
I used this to mount a 65" LED TV. It's a heavy, sturdy mount, installation was pretty simple (once I figured out where I wanted to mount it). It comes with all the mounting hardware you'd ever need, including screws for your TV and any spacers if you need it, which is nice. Leveling the TV is also super simple if you messed up levelling the mount to the wall (which I did), although I would recommend doing that on the cross bars before you put the TV on the mount. You also get a little bit of leeway to shift the TV left or right on the crossbars, and you can shift the TV up and down by installing the brackets higher or lower on the TV. So it does give you some options to adjust the TV position, maybe 6-8" either way. The arms move very nicely and smoothly without too much effort, but they stay in place well. It's pretty easy to extend and compress the arms to and from the wall, and also turn the TV. The one reason I knocked off a star on this mount is the tilt feature. There's a bolt that sits across the panel that secures the crossbars, one side is an allen bolt, the other side is a handle. I thought that you'd use the allen bolt part to get the bolt mostly secured, and then use the handle to quickly loosen/tighten with a half turn (which is all the range you have since its right up against the panel). But no, the allen bolt secures one side, and the handle secures the other side. This is so stupid because now if you want to adjust the tilt, you have to go get an allen wrench, and getting at this particular bolt when the TV is on the mount is a pain in the neck. They should have either used the allen bolt for a coarse adjustment and have the handle be the fine adjustment, or just had 2 handles. It might seem trivial, but this is regular operation of the mount, and its a pain in the neck, especially when a simple design change could alleviate this.

Great customer service, easy install, and works as advertised
I normally do not write reviews. But with product I definitely wanted to share my experience. So as far as mourning it is pretty straight forward and comes with everything you need. I would definitely suggest investing in a stud finder(even just the cheap one with a magnet that detects nails works fine). Here is where I messed up and a 100% on me. I centered the mount both vertically and horizontally on the wall. But where I messed up is I did not take into consideration the brackets where not centered on the back or my tv. This cause my tv to hang a little higher than what I would have liked(just a few inches higher than eye level). After giving it a couple of weeks it was still bothering me slightly. Here is where the product absolutely turned into a 5 star review for me. I googled the customer service number, and on the first try I actually got a real person. I described my problem, and the lady said don’t worry bout it, it actually happens quite a bit. She offered to send me some different brackets(I believe I these brackets actually come with the bigger tv mount) but since these brackets are a lil longer it allowed the tv to actually drop maybe 2-3 inches. Which is exactly what I needed and now my tv sits eye level, and I did not have to remount the wall mount, thus I did not have the re hang the mount and did not have patch any holes in the wall. The customer service rep actually send the tv brackets for me for free!! They didn’t even charge me shipping or an extra fee. The mistake was totally on me and they helped me out. So in closing a couple of things to take into consideration 1. Ensure you get a stud finder and mount it on the studs with the provided lag bolts (I used two additional heavy duty dry wall anchors in the middle just for additional support) 2. Measure twice drill once. Ensure you take into consideration how the brackets fit on the back of the tv( ie If they are centered or not. 3. What I did to help visualize the tv on the wall is to cut out a piece of cardboard the size of your tv and tape it on the wall and that will help give your your mounting height. 4. For the most part you can do this with one person, but definitely suggest two people when you lift the tv to the brackets 5. Definitely use the spacers and saftey mounting lock to keep the tv secure

Fantastic, super-heavy duty Wall Mount - Bought two of them!
This is a fantastic, value priced, but HEAVY DUTY wall mount. I originally bought it to mount my 52inch Sharp LC-52LE640U LCD tv on the wall in the bedroom. ( This TV has the 600 x 400 VESA mounting holes.) My experience was so good that I bought a second one for my bigger LG 65-Inch LED (model TV65UH6150) which, oddly enough, used a smaller 300 x 300 VESA mounting pattern. The box comes with all of the mounting hardware you need, including a wide range of bolt, washer and spacer sizes, great instructions and a mounting template. Even I couldn't screw this up! Initially, I was a little worried as I would be mounting this onto the old, solid walls of my NYC apartment, so I wasn't sure if the TV mount would hold up. But Mounting Dream provides 4 pretty decent sized bolts, I think M16 x 2.0 inch bolts, with matching Toggler Alligator anchors. Once I had the unit mounted, my worries were alleviated. This thing is NOT moving! Putting the mount up is super easy, as they include a cool little "template" with a mini "level" which you affix to the template. Once you tape the template onto your wall (the template even comes with the backing tape!) you just have to drill the holes. The instructions even told me what size drill bit to use! No measuring, no guessing! Perfect the first time! After mounting the second unit on my livingroom wall, for my bigger LG tv and watching tv for a week, I decided that I wanted to change the position a little, to bring the unit down a bit. (In addition to using a smaller mounting pattern than my Sharp tv, the LG's mounting bolt were on the bottom of the TV, which pushed the TV up higher. With the Sharp, the mounting wholes were up higher, so the TV "hung" low.) To that end, I was worried about reusing the plastic anchors so I looked online to see if I could buy some. These things were not cheap. ($17 for a 4 pack.) So, I reached out to Mounting Dream and explained my situation and they immediately sent me out a new set of bolts and anchors, free of charge!! For the price, build quality, customer service, ease of installation and various mounting options provided, I HIGHLY recommend this product!

Straightforward to install, very sturdy, and easy to adjust
I purchased this to mount my 55" 4K TV to the wall. The instructions were straightforward, and the lag bolts are very sturdy. The allen key holder on the frame is a nice touch in case you ever need to adjust it and can't remember where you put the allen key. The mount came on time, and with all the bolts, spacers and adapters you need for most TVs, as well as a small level to help you level your TV after mounting. You MUST ensure you are mounting through to concrete or studs with the lag bolts not just to drywall, as one of the tests is to extend it fully out and pull down on it. I like the swivel and tilt adjustments, as they allow you to pull the TV out from the wall and swivel it. Once you set the tilt angle, I can't see ever needing to adjust that. One piece of advice I would give is to figure out how high the TV needs to be and then figure out how it fits onto the mount. My TV ended up a tad higher than I would like, but I don't want to dismount it, drill new holes and move it about 6 inches lower I centred the mount height based on the open area, but it does not mound exactly in the centre of the TV vertically. Overall I would recommend this unit.
