After reading reviews for other door closers I was put off by the difficulties people were having with the installation process. This one seemed to be a good option in terms of simplicity and price. It is very easy to install and works perfectly as others have mentioned it does mark the door a little as the metal plate is just a wee bit too short and it runs off it as you close the door. I screwed it in to the door at the very edge of the bar to try and avoid it but it doesn't make any difference. It probably needs to be 60% longer. Overall for the ease of fitting and price I'd buy it again and would recommend it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Check Fit, narrow door frames might struggle to accommodate this. *by R***E on 26 May 2020* Nice item, well made for price, instructions easy to read but unfortunately was too narrow to fit the door frame on our recessed door. The door would not open with the bracket fitted onto the thin door frame space as it blocked the door. Could do with having this dimension added to the listing. Otherwise the item seemed good for the price.
