Made in China but still Zeiss. You have to pay double the price for German made equivalent. I have a pair of Zeiss 10x42 Terra and they're good but I am unable to compare with the German ones (Victory?) but do have older West German Zeiss Oberkochen & Dialyt binoculars and their build quality is better. **Q: Does it come with a case?** A: Yes. a very sturdy case for an excellent pair of binoculars. That said, I already had a carry case for a previous pair.
