My original tailgate handle broke cosmetically but still functioned. I decided to replace it and this was a perfect match. It was very easy to install. I received the shipment promptly and would buy from this seller again.

Good fit
Fit right in, was easy to install. Feels like it’s going to last a while. Price was a fraction of OEM.

Good price, works as expected, fairly easy install.
This mostly plastic lift gate handle works well. It was fairly easy to install without using any instructions. Remember to take the lock out of the old one and install it into this new one. If you are not mechanically inclined, you might need to watch a video to figure out how to take the lock ring off to remove the lock, install it on the new one, hook up the 2 levers that pull on the cable to release the locks and reinstal the new locking clip. But, it is not hard, 2 screw hold the handle in place. There were about 8 screws in the tailgate that needed to be removed to get the access pannel off. Once installed the locking mechanism worked well, the handle opens the tailgate when the handle is almost fully open, so you have to pull it almost all the way out for my Toyota Tundra to open the gate. The install took about 25 minutes. I would buy this again.

Tailgate, quality aftermarket
So many to choose from. I was skeptical but bought. It is slightly a lighter plastic than original. Install went well. Everything fit as should. It's been almost a year now and I couldn't be more pleased! Wow, has been so easy to open tailgate. No issues at all. I use my tailgate a lot to haul. Worth the cost. Very nice replacement. Very happy!

Easy Installation
Easy installation on my 2005 Tundra. Seems durable. The lock swapped out without problem. Looks like the original. The tailgate now works like a charm.

Something to keep in mind.
The handle fit perfectly. However on first install it would not open the tailgate. Nothing wrong with this handle. There are two tiny clips that hold the latch rods. Those were lose causing the handle not to function when first installed. Got the clips from Toyota $4 each. Everything works perfectly now. Also the original handle hand disappeared and needed to be replaced anyways.
