I have grossly exceeded the size of log that you're supposed to use on this, and it's held up well. I've had a 10 ft long 8-in diameter iron wood log in it, and the only complaint that I have is the stabilizer foot could be wider. But it does work and work well. Thank you.** A: I don't know the dimensions and I can't measure it for you as it's own in the woods for the winter. I have to say it's a fantastic piece of equipemt. Last fall I was able to cut log lengths from logs 6 or more feet long and approx. a foot in diameter. The log support worked incredibly well and made cutting firewood much easier. **Q: Mine just arrived. Is the upright part supposed to be tilted? The vertical on mine makes 80 degree angle with short legs of base** A: The upright needs to be at 90 degrees. Flip the short end around and it should work just fine. Been using mine for over five years and have brutally been put to the test! I cut a lot of wood! A good buy! **Q: 3 Questions. Does it come with a chain? How does the chain lock work? Is it easy and fast to change out wood? Thank you.** A: It does come with a chain and the chain lock is really easy to use. The chain falls through the lock effortlessly and locks in place with any upward motion on the chain. Easiest way to remove the last piece of wood is to push it off of the jaws toward the side with the chain lock. I loosen one side of the chain. Set the next piece of wood on and drop the chain through the lock. Lift up on the free end of the log till it's just above parallel. Then push down on it until the chain is locked. There are a few videos online that show this process. **Q: Where is it made?** A: I don't know.
