I loved this DVD.  I do a barre DVD each Saturday and I like to have a lot of variety.  This DVD is barre based, but is completely different from others I own.  There are some production issues, but I didn’t mind them.  For example, at times her audio is muffled but I am still able to hear her.  The overhead shots don’t line up perfectly with the ground shots for timing.  Also, at times she doesn’t give rep counts, which would be helpful when you are not facing the TV, or her rep counts seem off.  Having said all of that, I thoroughly enjoyed the workout and loved the scenery.  She provides some but not a lot of form tips.  I would not consider this a good workout for an inexperienced exerciser.She starts with a warmup which includes jumping squats, pulsing squats and holding the squat. She has four cardio segments alternating with lower body work.  The cardio isn’t traditional impact cardio.  She starts the cardio segment in plank with gliders underneath each foot, sliding the feet in and out.  She then moves to pushups (roughly 25 depending on your speed) and then triceps dips. The cardio segment ends with holding either boat pose or a forearm plank for one minute.  In the last (fourth) cardio segment, she adds the option of going into a pike in the gliding section.The lower body segments are similar and use a band to either go into plie or lunges, moving into leg raises, and ending with calf raises.  After the last cardio segment she goes into abs, and I thought this section was very strong.  She ends the workout with a nice stretch.I have one of her other two DVDs and this one is quite a bit different. I am glad I purchased it.
