I didn't need the tool for this band but i did try it with a band from another company that i couldn't get to go in and it made it a breeze. When you first get this band it's a little stiff but after bending it about some and wearing it the material isn't as stiff. The colors are vibrant and give me lavender woven limited edition fitbit vibes. I also LOVE that they use 2 band straps for the underside vs 1. Having only one with my original fitbit band drove me nuts which is why I stopped using it and started purchasing from amazon. Very cute product & very well thought out , too. This company definitely didn't cut any corners and I'm very impressed with how far they go to make this the best experience they can when purchasing their products. By doing so, they definitely stand out above the rest. I love the woven bands as they don't give me rashes. This one was super easy to put on as it came with a little tool that helped me get the pin inserted where I normally spend 10 or 15 minutes struggling to get a band on. I really do love the color but not sure why they list it as a purplish as I find it more of a pink color. It is a bit stiff at first but does soften up the more you wear it. I really do love this band but I have one issue. It wants to hang on to the side of my wrist constantly as shown in my 3rd picture. If I try to tighten it a notch then its too tight but apparently the notch I'm using is a little too loose.
