I am just not sure if it'll work for light bars. **Q: I have a snorkel on my 89 xj can i still use these brackets even tho i have the snorkel which is close to my a pillar** A: I believe the snorkel and this bracket will not work together. **Q: I have a 1988 jeep cherokee Xj, in theory will these fit?** A: Yes they fit all XJ's from 84-01. **Q: Everything i see says for the cherokee will this fit on the grand cherokee as well?** A: Not on a ZJ ( 1993-1998 GRAND Cherokee). On an XJ ( 1984-2001 Cherokee ) there is a windshield post around the front glass, then a door frame. On a ZJ the door goes up to the windshield, so there is no place to mount this bracket. Fits snug and looks great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love the look *by V***D on May 1, 2020* I installed these on my 92 Cherokee XJ with 4" spotlights very easily, without door interference. They look great. The weld looks sturdy and the metal is thick. The coating is, meh. Overall I like the fit and ease of install. They haven't taken a hard punch so I don't know how much of an impact they can withstand. But in that case if im hitting a spotlight then I'm also taking out a mirror in the process.
