That being said I couldn't be happier with this product. I read all the reviews I could and did as much research as possible on this and decided on a way of installing it that uses some of the suggested methods. I will admit I did not use an instructions or any of the hardware included. I only spent $14 on all the required installation materials and it was worth it. So to start you will need the following materials. 1. 5, 1/4" screws that sit flat with nuts 2. 10, 1" wide washers with 1/4" hole 3. 3 cans of "Great Stuff" for windows and doors (very important since it does not buldge it will not push your trim out when it cures) 4. A drill with a 1/4" drill bit 5. A Philips screwdriver or bit attachment 6. Some sort of clamp I used my jumper cable (to hold the seatbelt from retracting) 7. Packing tape or double sided tape As you can see in the pictures below I tried to ease the headache of installation for future buyer's. Start by removing the 3 screws holding the pannel to the frame of the tail gate. Then remove the 5 or 6 screws holding the bottom trim that overlaps it. Just pull up on the bottom piece. For the trim where the box goes you will have to pull out from the bottom then lift up since it goes over the metal between the window. Once pulled out pull the seat belt out as far as it will go and take your clamp to hold it at the base so it will not retract. Now the fun, take that foam they give you and the smaller square piece cut it into 3 equal sized chunks. You'll want to take your double sided tape and put it on the box now around the edge that goes in the stock cut out. Wrap the foam all the way around it. I did not have double sided tape I only had packing tape and I just held one piece on taped all the way around then added a piece and went around again till it was covered. Now shove it into the trim that you took off and flip it over. Drill out 5 holes as pictured and put the screws in from the inside in this order. Screw then washer then put in the hole then washer then nut. Tighten down as much as possible by hand (with a ratchet and socket). Once that is done lay it flat and cover with the "Great stuff" as pictured. Use the remaining (approx can and a half) "Great Stuff" and fill the hole. I did shove a piece of egg crate foam that was laying around in the hole before filling with "Great Stuff". Helped save some money but you could buy a 3rd can for about $3. At this time you want to put your speaker wire in the little hole at the bottom of the box, give yourself plenty of slack. Let set for about 10 minutes then push it into place. You want to do this now before the foam sets and doesn't form right. Once in put your screws back and install your sub. If you have any questions feel free to ask. At least in my Jeep the installation wasn't quite as straightforward as presented. I ended up ditching the hardware that came with the enclosure and through bolting everything together. I did have to tear the interior a lot further apart, but now I know nothing is ever going to move. Fit the "wayback divot" perfectly.
