qt Zinsser 03504 White Zinsser, Cover-Stain Oil-Based Stain Blocker, 450 VOC

This stuff is Fantastic. It covered a large raw wood surface, knots and all, quite well using two coats. I painted my project outside in the yard, and I didn't need a mask. As for the smell, I would rate the fumes a 4 out of 10 for overall noxiousness. Clean up is not water, but with mineral spirits.

This primer worked well to seal water stains on a ceiling due to poor roofing job

This stuff works great in one coat. It is easy to apply and covers easily. Great quality. I was prepping 4 pieces of furniture for painting. It was my first time attempting a project like this. The primer went on easily in one coat The furniture looks great and I am looking forward to other projects

I painted over wallpaper above my cabinets that wouldn’t budge even with a steamer. It was plaid. This covered in one coat and only needed one coat of paint. Great stuff! Only negative is the smell……took a few days to the smell out of our kitchen with windows open.

Gets the job done! The smell is extremely potent — highly recommend an air purifier and a respirator mask. It dries quickly & the quality is good. Good price for what you get.
