I was overjoyed to discover all the fun new parts. The model is remarkable and clever, and surprisingly sturdy. I don't think it's much of a toy, but still it is really enjoyable to hold and move about. The only thing I would have added is a rear differential. I don't have any idea how this could be done in the constraints of lego parts. The steering and suspension is fantastic, and the drive train and motor are pretty cool too.Overall it's a great lego set. I'm not sure how to assess the value. 35 bucks is pretty steep for a toy, and I have yet to see how valuable the pieces are once we dismantle the buggy and add the parts to our "big bucket of legos". Many of the parts seem pretty speciallized, but we are enthusiastic to create new things with these peicies. Ultimately I view all lego sets as parts collections, not models.
