Use wire ties etc. **Q: Is the carabiner large enough to clip directly on to the AC Infinity tent poles?** A: No, they are not large enough to clip directly to the poles. Simple solution is to loop over the pole and clip back onto the rope. **Q: how do i release and lower an object from the ceiling, do I need to physically push or switch lever on the ratchet, or just with the rope itself?** A: Use the lever to release the tension and adjust height. Be careful and don't let it free fall on you. **Q: Can you use these outside in a covered area?** A: I would if that's where I needed them. Mine are in a small greenhouse for adjusting the height of lights.
