This was on my Christmas list to replace a mini Cuisinart food processor I purchased back in the 90s. The best part of this appliance is how well it handles every task from processing vegetables for salsa to mixing pie dough to shredding cheese - it handles it all easily and with less noise than my old food processor. It is also a substantial machine, it is heavy and has a large capacity bowl - I like that about it. I put four stars for ease of cleaning because I often wash it by hand even thought it is dishwasher safe. This is a great kitchen tool and I am very happy with it.

This was an America's Test Kitchen winner. My old processor was LOUD and not very powerful and the bowl was small. This is great!! Large size bowl, much quieter, and makes mashed cauliflower as smooth as silk.

I have lusted over this food processor for years, and finally got one when it went on sale. I is very powerful, cuts fast and is easy to clean. Some have complained about the safety feature getting clogged up, but I don't find that a problem. We have used it a number of times since purchase and it never disappoints. Glad I held out for the best.

Heavy duty, good power, low noise, easy to clean. Does what I need.

Works beautifully

Only after owning this a few months, it starts to squirt out the top when I have a little bit of liquid in it, like 1 cup or less. Customer service says I need to put in less liquid. Really? Less than 1 cup where I was following a professional chef recipe? They would not replace it due to that it's been discontinued. They said I could return it to seller, but doesn't look like seller will take it back. No more Cuisinart for me.
