Easy to study with, keeps you organised. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An excellent book for candidates' success in the IELTS Academic Test - highly recommended. *by N***S on 27 December 2021* The media could not be loaded. As an ex-examiner and administrator for IELTS I can strongly recommend the entire series of IELTS Practice Tests. I recently purchased Set 5, both the Academic and the General Training Test books, together with downloadable audios, and the quality overall is remarkable, and not only that, but highly competitive with other "official" IELTS training guides. This is not always the case, I must say, and this is the first time I have purchased any of these books from the series. For new and repeating IELTS candidates, this series has a lot to offer and is well presented and edited, following the typical IELTS sequence. Audio recordings are top-notch, easy to download, and clear to listen to (only once, of course!! hahaha). As a linguist and linguistics specialist, Number 5 Practice Tests (General Training and Academic) are ideal to assist students and candidates in their respective journeys to success! For the Academic option it is always vital to practise the Writing Task 1, which for many candidates creates at least some difficulties. Charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams can cause not only frustration, but uneasiness in the real IELTS test, hence the importance of getting to grips with these long before the test.Another of the helpful aspects of this book (and the others) is the analysis given to answers in the Reading section - full explanations can help the student or candidate understand much of the logic applied in IELTS. In the end, IELTS is like no other English language test, so using the best materials available is a huge advantage. That is why I would firmly recommend this and any of the other texts in the series. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best tool for the exam *by A***A on 19 November 2019* The mock tests of this book are quite challenging but that's what you need if really want to prepare yourself with something as close as possible to the real exam. I usually follow the tips contained on Simone's book 'Target band 7' to be more effective and manage my time better and as a result I got some good scores at the end of these tests.
