The function is perfect, and not only are there 10 brightness levels for 3 shades of "white" light, there's an RGB mode with a variety of colors in high and low modes. Also, you can turn on a shade of the white light (and brightness) on the outside ring and an RGB color on the inside ring by turning both modes on. There is also a spectrum cycling RGB mode that I can think of a couple of uses for. It plugs into any standard type A USB female port and has an inline remote. I use it for Twitch, YouTube, Mixer, Facebook Live, and Mobcrush for streaming and gaming and it's better than I could have hoped for.
