It was super helpful to have this kit. I saw a video online with all the suggested tips. First you need to take a bath to soak your skin and use that scratchy black glove in this kit to exfoliate. The glove is really scratchy, it's not like a loofah which is scratchy up until you get it wet. So I really liked that glove, I plan to use it even when I'm not preparing for a tan. Then to apply the tan, that mitten has internal lining so that your hand doesn't get all dark. The video I saw recommends starting from the feet and going up with long strokes motions. The mitten is nice and soft and applies the product evenly. The long one is an awesome tool to get your backside. Do lots of sweeping motions with your back arched back then forward to get that indentation at the spine. The little finger applicator is perfect for the face. Overall, I think this kit was a great investment. Now that I've tried applying a tan, I may never lay out again.
