I have a Janome jw1800 and want to do the decrative stich 92 what do I set the controls at and what foot? See nothing in the mnual

With all computerized sewing machines when sewing decorative stitches, we recommend using the general utility foot also known as the Zigzag foot, or the Satin stitch foot, whichever you feel more comfortable using, and simply select the stitch number you would like to use. No additional adjustments are needed.

I did not measure it, but it is not very long= perhaps around 4ft. I use an extension cord.
