I started reading from Genesis... now in Exodus. I can write my thoughts as I go, and I only pull one book at a time. Finish one and put it away and continue with the next one. It makes it easier for my chaotic mind, to organize my thoughts, write down my questions, lessons learned, etc... it is exactly what I needed to get me through to read the Bible. I can take the book I am reading with me easily when I got out and have a chance to sit down and read, as it fits nicely into a medium sized purse or backpack. Also, I am able to read more than one chapter at a time now. I hadn't realized that the chaos of having so much information packed on each page was overwhelming me when reading directly from the Bible. These books offer verses on the left side and an empty page on the right side to write down your comments, questions, etc... the blank page has very light dots in a line to help keep your writing straight but I hardly see it, so I have the flexibility of writting smaller or larger than the intended spaces and it doesn't bother me. If you want well defined dark lines to write on, just keep this in mind. Since getting this set, the study of the Bible has been so much easier. It has allowed me to push forward with my goal of reading ALL the Bible in a way that is comfortable and enjoyable for me. Plus the covers and boxes are beautiful. I had seen reviews of people saying that the books had some edges that were not perfect, and yes it has been the same with mine.
