Will this work on a Vanagon? Smaller hole than usual.

I would just take off the drum and put it back on to check adjustment or use a screw driver this tool just makes it easier

Actually no it won't, the 2012 TnC has the parking brake incorporated with the brake caliper (part of) this tool is designed for a drum brake style of parking brake.
