Perhaps I was just lucky, but the monitor was recognized right away and works perfectly - no flickering or screen artifacts as reported in some other reviews.The adapter isn't exactly cheap, but it's pretty much your only option if, like me, you have one of those Korean monitors with only DL DVI-D inputs. I just hope it lasts... I'd already used a similar adapter (from another brand) that stopped working after a couple of years, so I replaced it with this one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product, but audio output is not working correctly. *by B***A on January 22, 2015* This product is the only one I have found that will allow my AMD Brix Gaming PC (GB-BXA8G-8890) to output 4K @ 30 Hz. I tried the passive Belkin cable and adapter, and neither of them worked for me.The only problem I have had with it is getting the audio to work correctly. It may be a simple setting that I'm missing, but I haven't figured it out yet. Whenever I connect the adapter and plug it into my TV, Windows gives a message that I need to have a secondary connection for Audio output.If I can figure out how to get audio with only this adapter and HDMI cable, I will definitely give this 5 stars.**Update**Audio is now working over mini-displayport+HDMI with a newly released GPU driver update.**Update 2**Audio stopped working again over mini-displayport+HDMI... ### ⭐ Worked fine for 3 months, then stopped working properly. *by A***N on June 21, 2019* It's about 3 months since I've purchased this, and now the cable has quit working.
