A friend of mine bought the Moj Moj claw machine for her daughter but that one isn’t as fun to use and the claw seems a bit flimsier...this claw is really easy to work and pick up the toys. The fact that the controls come out and can be used as a remote control is also really fun. And it comes with coins which can be stored inside the remote so they won't get lost, also a super plus. But you don't need the coins to operate it so the kids only need to use them for the fun of it, to make it seem like they're really in an arcade. The best feature for parents is the usb cable, allowing this to be plugged in so you don't need to keep replacing batteries. You'll still need batteries for the controller but that only takes 2 AAAs. The little toys it comes with are cute, but you can put any toys in this thing that will fit through the prize exit. I tested it using an LOL pet which is on the heavier side and the claw had no problem picking it up.One of the issues I read about this machine is that the slot on the top where you put the toys back in is blocked by the claw device. This is true and at first I was really annoyed when I took it out of the box. But you don't need to take the whole thing apart to deal with this, there's an easy fix. You turn the machine on, start the machine, move the claw to the other side, then switch off the power button on the back. Then the insert is unblocked and you put the toys back in. Only VERY MINOR issue is that the top bar that clips on over the lights doesn't fit very snuggly, and will pop off from time to time when we're moving it from being put away to having it out to use.
