Deckorators Traditional Solar VersaCaps light up your deck, fence or porch without the hassles of wiring or electricity, day or night. Mounted at the highest point on the railing, post caps are one of the most prominent features of any deck or patio. Deckorators VersaCaps let you top off these posts beautifully - no matter what size or type they might be. Each 6x6 VersaCap comes with two removable collar inserts nested inside the base. You simply remove one or two of these inserts to make the cap fit snugly on top of any post that ranges in size from 5" to 5-1/2" square. VersaCaps look great on top of posts made of any material: wood, vinyl or composite. They also work great with most leading post sleeves on the market. Note: A 6"x6" post typically has 5.5" x 5.5" nominal dimensions.

    These are good lights.

These worked well on my 6X6 post that has a PVC cover after I modified the post.  It really only fits 5 1/2" X 5 1/2 posts.  I cut my posts down to fit.  The light works good.  Not bright enough for safety but as a maker it works well.  The solar system has worked so far.  I have had them installed for about 3 weeks.

These lights are nice and easy to install. I replaced the batteries that came with it and they seem to work a little better now. They are not very bright though.
