## Description

Product description The Polara 3-piece XDS (Extra Distance & Spin) golf ball reduces hooks and slices by up to 50% and is designed for Maximum Distance and control around the green. Get yours today and dramatically improve your golf game! Since these balls were designed to be less corrective than our Ultimate Straight, we were able to raise aerodynamic lift just a bit, so these balls will fly higher in general, and ball flight should be fairly typical with your standard driver. The resulting ball flight will result in a higher trajectory and longer carry distances than our Ultimate Straight golf balls – hence the designation “XD” for Extra Distance (relative to our Ultimate Straight). SELF-CORRECTING TECHNOLOGY 386 Dimple Count re-designed to deliver a softer feel for more self-correcting control and distance. Polara's XDS (Extra Distance & Spin) self correcting golf balls are for the golfer whose problem is significant and persistent hooking or slicing off the tee. The unique 3-piece construction consists of a central core and an outer cover. Using these golf balls can cut up to 45 minutes off a round of golf by minimizing time spent searching for lost balls. This makes the game faster and more enjoyable, boosting confidence and reducing frustration for players. Polara balls are engineered to exceed USGA standards for accuracy making them ideal for recreational tournament play. Polara balls are for golfers who want to experience the essence of golf’s pleasures.

Review: I enjoy golfing, and tend to golf any where between ... - These Balls are no Joke! I enjoy golfing, and tend to golf any where between 20-30 rounds a year. Im a fairly consistent bogie golfer, shooting between 83-88 on most outings. I know that I will never be a par golfer, nor do I desire to be on the pro tour. However, it always feels good when you do hit below you average and score lower than you normally would. In my case, scoring an 80 or 81 would be a great outing. I usually hit the ball pretty straight off the tee and can usually hit it 225 yards or so. but I do tend to get a slight slice or fade here and there. Ive always just played it and tried to us the natural fade as a strength and for the most part it has worked. This summer I saw these balls on desertcart and started reading about them, and yes, they are technically illegal, but im not a pro, not competing for money or any where near a national level. so I figured what the heck, ill give em a try. I promise you, you will not be disappointed in these balls, they have added 40-50 yards to my drive, and the ball flies straighter and truer than I could of ever imagined. I have dropped a consistent 4 to 6 strokes a round off my game, I have hit 77, 78, 79. Like I said, I know there not a ball you could use on tour, but if your not competing and playing for fun, these balls are fantastic and really do work. With all that said, I caution 1 thing. When you first start using these balls, you will most likely do what I did and want to compare them against your callaway or what have you. the feel of these balls are going to be a bit different. not that its bad or feels way off. just different, like a callaway super soft is going to feel different than a Nike crush. it will take a bit to get use to them, but you will and when you do, as long as the arrow on the ball is pointed the way you are hitting, the polara ball will fly far and it will fly straight and it will beat out any ball you have in your bag, I tested and compared against every brand of ball I have and polara won in distance and straightness every time. Once you get use to the feel, I found even putting with the ball is superior.
Review: Not revolutionary - Here's the short version...It's a good ball, but it's not going to change your game. Longer version: Pros: - Very soft, had a good feel around the green (great spin) - Didn't seem to hinder distance at all (as claimed with the previous models) - Price isn't bad - Very good feel off the club Cons: - I found it annoying that I had to constantly "aim" the ball. Several times I would tee it up, address the ball, then realize it's a few degrees off.....re-tee it, etc. - I love that it is a very soft shell, but I slightly cut/scuffed the shell of two different balls just from hitting them (no cart paths, trees, etc.). I suspect it is just from having some sand or dirt on the club when I hit. - I bought a dozen for my father and a dozen for me. Neither of us really noticed any correction of ball path. Conclusion: It's not a bad ball. It's very soft, yet still hits a good distance. Playing these balls, I've had some good shots...and I've had some bad shots. Just to give it an honest shake, I alternated several holes between Polaras and Pro V1s. I think I slightly preferred the Pro V1s. The Pro V1 is quite a bit more expensive than the Polara, but my point is that I think a high quality conventional golf ball can still out perform Polara. On a dollar for dollar comparison, the Polara feels a little better than a comparatively priced conventional ball. So it's not a bad buy. I gave it four stars based on that. But if you are expecting a revolutionary ball that you can't hook or slice no matter how hard you try....you will likely be disappointed. It's fun to mix it up a little and give these balls a run, so I'm glad I tried them. But I won't be hitting them religiously. Mainly because I don't want to have to aim it before every shot. I do seem to stick these to the green or even back them up occasionally. So that was pretty cool. *For reference, I am not a great golfer. I usually score between 90-100 on most courses. I don't have a consistent hook or slice...but I still hit my fair share of both. I probably spend 60-70% of my shots on the fairways or greens. So the rough and I are well acquainted. So take my opinions with a grain of salt.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lowest Scores......EVER!!!!!
*by G***8 on September 26, 2013*

I just want to say that I am about a 13 Handicap and have broken 80 once in my life. My goal has always been to have a shot at 79 everytime I go out to play.....However, my driving usually made the feat quite difficult. I was skeptical about playing a USGA non-conforming ball at first but considering the fact that I will never compete in a US Am or Mid-Am persuaded me to try these balls out. So I originally purchased a trial pack from the Polara website. Took them out to the local executive course to try out. OMG! These balls are absolutely amazing! I had a legitimate shot at a 33 on the back nine that day, and continually break 40 for 9 holes most days with this ball. I am now a Polara customer for life! I began to only line the ball up with my target from the tee, and then played around with adjusting my lie only in the fairway to see how the ball flies when aligned vs. not aligned. Here is what I discovered: 1) The ball flies straight - Slices turn into baby "Nicklaus" fades. The dimple pattern causes the ball to self correct in flight. These XDS balls have a normal trajectory with every club, unlike the other Polara balls which have a lower trajectory. 2) Wonderful feel - i thought that these balls would be lacking here, but pure iron and wedge shots feel like "butta!" I'd compare these to a Titeleist NXT tour in feel. 3) LONG! - Since these balls fly STRAIGHT (no distance lost left/right) with little side spin, they release when they land. When i played regular golf balls, I put so much spin on the drive that when they landed, they stuck, robbing me of distance. 4) Fairway play - When I lined the arrow up with my target from the fairway, they flew straight.....when I didn't, they flew strainght! The only difference I noticed was when you lined the ball up, there was more lift and flew only slightly higher. I also noticed that if you placed the ball with the alignment arrow perpendicular to the target, wedge shots had a lot of spin. Definitely one-hop-and-stop. 5) Putting - Has a nice soft feel.....not balata soft, but deftinitely soft. Rolled true, regardless of the assymetrical dimple pattern. 6) Intangibles - This ball allowed soooo much more than the above review: - FUN: Regularly having birdie and par putts is what it's all about! You can start trying to strategize more and enjoy the course your playing rather than getting frustrated with lost ball after lost ball! - Time Saver: You are in the fairway or slightly in the rough. Not a pond, the woods, a neighbors dog house.... - Confidence: No more jitters on tee boxs! just try to put the best swing you can on it and let it fly. This confidence then translates to all other facets of your game - Focus on other parts of game: Now you can really focus on improving the most important part of the game....getting the ball in the hole (wedge play and putting). I highly recommend this ball to any player not attempting to get into a USGA event. And for you purists out there, give us a break! Golf is a hobby and a form of recreation. Its not meant to be frustrating! The game is inherently difficult and you still need to gauge the environment/course/lie, select the right club, play the right shot, read a green, and execute a swing. This ball simply gives you confidence to keep putting in the effort and concentration to do your best. I can honestly say that I now have a shot at 79 each time I go out! Happy golfing!
