I am actually running a Samsung 1920x1200 panel connected to the HDMI port on a Gigabyte Brix micro PC and the Dell connected via this adapter via the mini display port and it is working well. I can add that when I first hooked it up with the 1920x1200 panel on the adapter it did not work and left me a bit confused. It seemed to start to work then fail and then work/fail and repeat repeat... When I switched the cables around putting the adapter on the Dell, all worked fine and leaves me satisfied. However,the adapter said it supported 1920x1200 so I am rating it short of 5 stars. I will also add that the behavior may have something to do with the Brix micro PC so I am not fully blaming the adapter. In my current config, I am not worried about the sound pass thru for HDMI but would fully expect that to work as advertised when/if I need that particular setup. I bought it to accommodate those configs when I need them so I remain expectant that this device will meet my needs. ### ⭐⭐ I ended up giving it away to someone who needed a MiniDP to VGA adapter and it works just fine for them *by B***I on Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2016* Not particularly a fan of this. In my case I wanted to output my 2011 Macbook Air to a DVI, HDMI, and VGA monitor at the same time.The most I ever got out of it was 2 monitors at a time. Either VGA+HDMI, or DVI+HDMI. I'm not sure if this was a limitation that was stated beforehand, but I did not see that anywhere. The device felt rather cheap to begin with so I didn't have much faith in it to begin with.I ended up giving it away to someone who needed a MiniDP to VGA adapter and it works just fine for them. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Works well, with a caveat *by J***S on Reviewed in the United States on June 6, 2015* I bought one of these and tested it out by connecting it to my computer monitor via VGA and then DVI and that worked great. Then I connected it to my TV via HDMI and that resulted in the TV making a rapid clicking sound for a couple of seconds while it showed "snow" followed by everything working right for a moment, a cycle which repeated over and over. I have a Thunderbolt to HDMI cable so I got it and tried it instead and it worked great. So I deemed this cable defective (which I think is fair), returned it, and bought a replacement in the hopes it was just an issue with that particular item. Today I got the replacement and I connected it first to the TV via HDMI and it worked great; then I connected it to my computer monitor via VGA and then DVI and that worked great as well. But I wasn't going to be satisfied until I saw that it still worked connected to my TV via HDMI so I hooked it back up to the TV via HDMI again and wouldn't you know it: once again I had the same repeating cycle of a rapid clicking sound for a couple of seconds while the TV showed "snow" followed by everything working right for a moment. So here's what I did: I moved the mouse to the mouse to the refresh rate select box (this was a challenge as I could only see where the mouse was every so often during that short time in the cycle where everything looked okay) and chose 24 Hz instead of 60 Hz and suddenly everything was perfect! At that point I was able to switch it back to 60 Hz and it still worked great so I guess it just needed something to jog it into working properly. What's up with that whole thing? I have no idea.
