## Description

From the Manufacturer The new PHCC Pro Series, "Pair of Pumps" combination systems, couples an energy efficient primary sump pump and battery backup sump pump into one compact system. The primary pump operates off AC power. If the power is interrupted, or more water is coming into the sump than the AC pump can handle, the backup sump pump will begin pumping automatically. The units come pre-assembled for easy installation and include four float switches for ultimate protection. Two floats with the primary pump, and two floats with the backup. The combination systems also contain unique monitoring features that warns the homeowner if the power goes out, battery fluid is low, backup pump was activated, or if the battery is discharged, defective, or battery terminals need cleaning. In addition the PS-C33 pump controller can send an alarm signal to a home security system or auto dialer. 1/3 HP - PSC motor Included with system: Primary pump. Backup pump. Backup system controller/charger with fluid sensor. Primary pump controller (DFC1) with caged dual float switch. 1-1/2 rubber union. Assembly includes two (2) check valves and hardware. Sump Foot - raised platform for both pumps. Battery box. Battery fill bottle (battery not included)

The float system is terrible and malfunctions causing the pump to run continuously and burn itself out in short order. I can’t think of a worse product I have ever used. Stick with Zoeller or Wayne.

Absolute junk. My company installed about 50 of these over a 3 month period and 35 have failed already within 6 months. The float system is terrible and malfunctions causing the pump to run continuously and burn itself out in short order. I can’t think of a worse product I have ever used. Stick with Zoeller or Wayne.

I have a full basement that I intend to finish. I installed this in place of the cheap one that came with the house and it has worked perfectly. The secondary pump has not come on (beside testing periodically) and battery has remained at 100%. When comparing something like this to a regular pump, you will be in for sticker shock but it is well worth the piece of mind knowing you are as covered as you can be. Living about a mile from the ocean, we have a fairly high water table sot his was very important. It usually takes 2 days of rain to get this moving but with all the snow melting now its been powering up at regular intervals. Our footprint is about 1,400sq ft. It's a good afternoon project to install.
